The well-furnished apartment “Mayer Burghöfe FeWo 3” is situated on a dairy farm near Owingen and Überlingen, only a short drive from Lake Constance and is an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours and excursions around the lake. The 70 m² apartment consists of a living room with 2 sofa beds for one person each, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 2 bedrooms (one with 2 single beds) as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 6 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, a washing machine and a television. You can start the day with coffee on the balcony with views of the green surroundings and from where you can also see the Swiss mountain ridge if the foehn is right. The property boasts an extensive shared garden area with a playground, table tennis and deck chairs for you to relax in the sunshine. You can also spend the evenings with a glass of wine and delicious dinners in the barbecue area. Furthermore, you can purchase schnapps from the farm’s private distillery supermarket. You will find a bakery, a pharmacy and restaurants after 4 km or a 6-minute drive to Owingen and you can visit an old knight’s castle 1.1 km or a 17-minute walk from the property. From the top, you will have great views of the scenic landscape. The closest beach, Strandbad Ost, can be reached after a 15-minute drive (12.5 km), where you can swim in the clear blue water surrounded by a wonderful panorama. The pretty centre of Überlingen is a 13-minute drive (10 km) from the property and is great to walk about its narrow streets, full of cafés and restaurants along the waterfront. The picturesque old town centre of Konstanz lies a 50-minute drive (65 km) away, but you can get there also by ferry from Meersburg, 23.5 km or a 25-minute drive from the apartment. Furthermore, it is a 44-minute drive (33 km) to Friedrichshafen, and in winter you can arrive at the nearest skiing area after a 24-minute drive (16 km). The hilly area around Lake Constance also offers many hiking and cycling routes through woods and natural reserves. Parking spaces are available on the property. Bed linens and towels are included in the price. Pets are not allowed. -
