The apartment is situated in a wing of Kylemore House, a Georgian style fishing and shooting lodge which was built in the 18th century and overlooks Kylemore Lough. A garage and shop are just 100m away, as well as a bar and restaurant at the local hotel. The villages of Letterfrack and Leenane can be reached within 10 minutes by car. The local villages will provide all you need for your self-catering stay. Clifden town is reachable within 25 minutes minutes by car and offers more shops, restaurants, and services. Nearby you will find Connemara National Park, Diamond Hill, Kylemore Abbey and Killary Fjord. Boat trips and tours are also available nearby as well as many scenic walks and drives. You are a just a short drive from lots of beautiful sandy beaches along the Renvyle peninsula, where you can swim, walk, or enjoy kayaking, surfing, coasteering or paddle boarding.
