Pure peace and relaxation Our small village of Roddan is now only a neighbourhood, but it survives. The village is located near the forest, in the Elbe/Brandenburg River Biosphere Reserve with many opportunities to observe nature. The district of Prignitz offers an extensive network of cycle paths - and after just a few kilometres by bike you can reach the Havel estuary in Saxony-Anhalt for further excursions into nature and water sports. Our house is located in the old village centre, opposite the church on a residential street.
The house, courtyard, garden and outbuildings of the former farm are completely fenced in, the residential road has hardly any traffic, opposite the house is a small park with a children's playground and table tennis table. Guests can get garden furniture, set up a barbecue, inflate the pool for a small child, play ball, badminton, etc. as required.
In our large listed house you actually live in 2 separate flats, which are connected by a common staircase: Upper floor 2 persons, flat with balcony; mezzanine floor 3 persons, flat with conservatory. The flats are internally without thresholds, but there are steps to negotiate at the entrance. There is a cot in the 2nd bedroom of the ground floor flat - an extra bed is possible. If you take apart the bed in the "children's room" on the ground floor, in addition to the children's bed there are 2 low beds, each 90x200, so also suitable for older children - if necessary for adults. Our house is therefore suitable for families or friends travelling together who want to be together, but also have their own separate accommodation. You will find 2 bathrooms and 2 fully equipped kitchens to prepare your own meals. There are even other accommodation options in the house, which you can find out more about on request.
Many of our guests come to Bad Wilsnack for spa treatments or to relax in the local Kristalltherme. The Prignitz, Havelland and Altmark regions in the immediate vicinity also offer a wealth of culture in addition to nature: from archaeological sites to many churches and museums, hands-on activities in old crafts, musical events, traditional village festivals, but also modern attractions such as climbing towers, a diving tower in Wittenberge - and much more! The combination of 2 flats on offer has been certified with 4 stars by the German Tourism Association. The listed building (1898) has been carefully restored and modernised. The furnishing of the living rooms is partly modern, partly historically comfortable, in keeping with the character of the monument.
