The house backs onto Crowdy Head National Park. Enjoy the bird watching and star gazing. The 2 bathrooms (one ensuite) are great. Large lock up garage. Door opens to backyard through garage to store boat (not high boats). The Queensland Room is a great entertaining area - even in the hot sun or rainy weather - and the BBQ is brilliant! Second TV in large master bedroom - which also has day bed and second TV! Entire house is available with complete privacy.
The house has a digital lock - with a 5 digit number code - so you can check in and check out whenever you like! So you will have complete privacy. And don't worry about losing your keys down the beach or the pub! So while we won't be there to greet you - we are are available on the phone for any issues that arise during your stay.

Harrington is a beautiful coastal getaway. A fisherman's paradise - either up the Manning River or outside with Crowdy Head being the safest boat ramp launch to the ocean along the NSW north coast.
Harrys Haven is a short 5 minute walk to the river, club, pub, cafes - all with beautiful views of the Manning River. Crowdy Head is a beautiful family friendly beach - only a short 5 minute drive. 4WDs enjoy Crowdy Head beach and Crowdy Head National Park - drive up to Kylies Camping Ground and Diamond Head with loads of kangaroos and Australian wildlife. Harrington is surrounded by Crowdy Head National Park. Ideal during school holidays - where you don't have to fight off people everywhere you go.
Public transport available to Taree but buses are not consistent. Most guests have their own car, which is highly recommended. Many amenities however available within walking distance if you do not have access to your own vehicle.
There is a large IGA store (previously Coles supermarket) in Harrington - for your groceries so you don't have to go to Taree for supplies Other things: Take your boat, 4WD (beach and national park), camera, kayak, surfboard, boogie board, binoculars (during whale watching season), sunscreen, hat, beach towel, cossies, fishing lines (there is fishing shop in town for hooks etc), walking shoes, bike (great bike track along the Manning River). Take your smiley face back home. There are plenty of holiday reading books to choose from in the house. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook up a storm, and a great BBQ. Large (enough) Smart TV so take your Netflix and Stan password with you.
