It is a perfect quiet location with short walk to the beach, Golden Gate Park, Presidio National Park Recreation Area, and Sutro Park. A full bathroom, spacious living area with a smart TV and a spacious garden-facing bedroom with a large walk-in closet. The kitchenette is modern, large, eat-in.
The apartment is 1 house away from the fantastic Sutro Heights park, an elegant and formal public garden that covers 18 acres in the area now known as Lands End. Inspired by the rugged beauty and incredible scenery, Sutro intentionally designed the grounds to capture the views of the Pacific Ocean, the Golden Gate, and the Marin Headlands. Being on the far West end of the city, this area is tranquil and completely immune to the hustle and bustle of downtown.
The suite is on the ground floor, but there is a step up from the sidewalk and then another to get into the unit from the entry hallway. The door frames also are not flat; this is not an "accessible" home but would be well suited for people with some but limited mobility who just wish to avoid stairs.
Just like the neighborhood, once inside the 1 bedroom suite, you'll feel a sense of calm. The bedroom and living area are spacious and the kitchen and bedroom are light-filled in the daytime. The shared laundry machines are just outside the door to the suite, behind the folding doors. The back yard garden is also shared, although the owner rarely uses it. The unit consists of one bedroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen and dining area and are for your exclusive use.
By bus:
The 38 Geary bus will drop you off 2 blocks from Anza Street. You can catch the bus from Market and Third or First Streets, near the Montgomery BART station. The 38-Geary also runs past Union Square (on Geary Blvd).
Get off at the last stop, 48th Avenue and Point Lobos, and walk South to Anza Street.
Your host is a single professional man who lives in the main (upstairs) part of the house and this is completely separate and private. There is a shared small hallway entrance in order to share the common laundry. For any needs during your stay, please contact HostWell.
