Negative: Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel we have ever stayed at in the UAE. I honestly do not understand the high rating. 1.On arrival, the staff tried to charge us an extra 100 AED as a “penalty” for not providing card details at the time of booking. However, there was no such option on the booking platform and the reservation was clearly made without entering any card details. No special conditions were mentioned anywhere. We managed to insist on our rights and did not pay this amount, but the situation was very strange and unpleasant. 2.In the shower there was a soft fabric mat that did not look hygienic at all and is unlikely to be properly cleaned after each guest. Around the mat there was trash and someone else’s hair. It was very uncomfortable and frankly disgusting to use such a shower. 3.Even with the air conditioning in the room turned off, some kind of central system switched on automatically every 30 minutes, blowing a strong chemical perfume smell into the room. It was impossible to turn this off. I had an allergic reaction to this harsh scent, with a runny nose, watery eyes and rapid breathing. In the end I had to go sleep in the car. Luckily, it is winter season now and the weather allowed it. I deeply regret that we chose this place. But sometimes you only understand after you try.
