Capstan Cottage formerly a coastguard cottage sits on an elevated site in Donegal, overlooking Lough Swilly with views of Knockalla Mountains to the rear.
There are two holiday cottages available to rent, Capstan Cottage sleeping 6 and Anchor Cottage sleeping 4 guests comfortably. Both coastal holiday cottages have been sympathetically refurbished, both oozing charm and character.
From Capstan Cottage you are in for a treat as there are a number of breath-taking local beaches dotted along Lough Swilly and the Donegal coast. Scraggy Bay, a small rocky beach which has an anchorage, is conveniently located only 1 km from the holiday cottages. Ballymastocker Bay, once voted the second most beautiful beach in the world by Observer Magazine is also right on your doorstep. Capstan Cottage Description Our second self catering holiday cottage is Capstan Holiday Cottage. This holiday cottage has a delightful open plan kitchen, living room and dining room area. The open plan style creates the perfect atmosphere for a self catering holiday with family and friends. The cottage style kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable self catering holiday cottage in Donegal. A multifuel stove located in the living room creates a homely atmosphere and is perfect for relaxing after long coastal walks or adventures in the wilds of Donegal. This beautiful seaside holiday cottage also has a TV, DVD and radio.
Capstan Holiday Cottage sleeps 6 guests comfortably, all three bedrooms are located on the first floor. There are 2 double bedrooms providing wondering views and 1 twin bedroom plus a family bathroom.
