THE DAWN CONDOMINIUMS The Dawn Galveston TX is Located on Seawall, just West of 69th Street, The Dawn Condominiums can't be missed with the tropical colors, palm trees and beautifully landscaped grounds. The Dawn Condominiums feature two swimming pools (one pool is heated to 81° in the cooler months), poolside hot tub, community grilling areas, fitness center, on-site laundry and gated parking. Babe's Beach, complete with lifeguards and chair and umbrella rentals, is directly across the street from The Dawn! Babe's Beach is named after A.R. “Babe” Schwartz. As a state senator, Babe championed open beaches and environmental stewardship. For those who love saltwater fishing, head over to the longest fishing pier in Texas, Galveston Fishing Pier – open 24 hours a day. With your Ryson reservation, guests have the option of a free attraction ticket every single day of their stay, and Galveston Fishing Pier is one the free ticket options. Walk to shopping, restaurants, ice cream, fishing and the beach. Guests could easily park their vehicle upon arrival and never drive again until check-out. The Dawn is walking distance to Walmart, McDonald's, Pit Stop BBQ, Papa John's, Jimmy John's, Sonic, Golden Corral, Happy Buddha, Waffle House, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt, Frios Gourmet Pops & Island Froyo, Rita's Italian Ice, Seawall Souvenirs, Valero Corner Store, Babe's Beach and the world's longest continuous sidewalk, Seawall Boulevard. All kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes to make breakfast, lunch or dinner, and guests are so close to so many delicious places to eat if you don't feel like cooking or decide to order in after a long day at the beach or pool. Many local Galveston restaurants offer delivery, but if you don't find what you're looking for that way, check out Waitr, UberEats, DoorDash or ezCater (restaurant options and menus available online). Parking at condos is determined by the space available at the property (typically two-car maximum). Carpooling is highly recommended. Some of the properties Ryson manages require additional fees for things like parking passes, resort fees, amenity wristbands, etc. be paid to the HOA upon arrival directly. All reservations at The Dawn Condominiums require a $37.89 parking fee per vehicle (two max). The Dawn does not allow boats, RV's or trailers to be parked on-premises. The Dawn requires this fee be paid directly to The Dawn HOA at their front office upon arrival. When registering at The Dawn guests will receive their pool/gym bands (up to 6 for a one-bedroom and up to 8 for a two-bedroom) and access codes for parking gates, walk-through gates and for the fitness center. Pool/gym bands should be returned to The Dawn prior to departure. Please contact Ryson if you have any questions. Guests with limited mobility should consider parking and possible stairs to access unit, as The Dawn does not have elevators. A Ryson Vacation Planner would be happy to go over the location and access of specific units. Even if listed as a provided amenities, Ryson is unable to guarantee specific cable package, network or channels or cable and internet signal quality and cable may not be available on all TV's. Oftentimes additional TV's are available for guests wanting to hook up their own game systems or streaming devices. Ryson Vacation Rentals manages over 200 vacation homes on Galveston Island, and we're more than happy to work with guests interested in renting multiple homes. EXTENDED STAYS Monthly rentals are considered in the off-season - Winter Texans, snowbirds, retirees, corporate stays, medical professionals, university students and plant workers are welcome. Extended stays or monthly rental require a stay of 30+ nights, and these reservations are tax exempt. This is an immediate savings of 15%! Although most extended stay reservations are between the middle of November through February, extended stays may be considered anytime between Labor Day and Memorial Day. Extended stay reservations may not be placed online, but a Ryson Vacation Planner would love to answer any questions you may have and help you reserve your extended stay.
