Positive: The house and the surroundings are very beautiful, it reflects the charm of the Frisian countryside. The rooms, the kitchen, the bathroom are huge and comfortable; the double bed was very comfortable too.

Negative: The bed in the back badroom was very creaky and the mattress was worn out. Although the description says that the accommodation has a washing machine, in fact there is not, although this was an important aspect for us. We asked the host where the washing machine was, but he only answered after a day and a half, when he offered his own washing machine - but then it didn't matter, because we washed it in the laundry (and it caused a lot of problem to us). A microwave oven would also be useful in the kitchen. There are no mosquito nets anywhere on the windows (not even retractable ones), so there were quite a lot of mosquitoes in the bedrooms, despite this there was no mosquito net in the house.

Summary: Very nice countryside house - with a lot of mosquitos
