2 Bedroom Cottage in Hay-on-Wye, Cradley
Haywain cottage was converted from one end of a medieval barn, this ‘upside down cottage' has its two bedrooms and bathroom on the ground floor with living accommodation on the first floor. The very large double bedroom has a vanity unit and can also accommodate a single ‘'z' bed or cot. The second bedroom has a single bed, but an additional bed can be added if required (at additional cost). The bathroom has a ‘over the bath' rainfall shower.
The stairs lead up to a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, electric hob, integrated fridge, integrated freezer and dishwasher. The upstairs lounge is a light, bright, calm room with double aspect overlooking the duck pen/house and garden borders.
It is set in lovely gardens along with 6 other houses all with very different characters and decor. Guests have access to 3 different gardens all with seating areas along with BBQs and firepits, ample free parking along with free WiFi.

We have been active in the implementation and maintenance of systems/practices that reduce our carbon footprint. We do operate a general/recycling option for household waste. We also operate a treatment plant that treats wastewater on site for our properties that aren't connected to the main sewer system and our biomass heating system offers unlimited heating using locally manufactured wood pellets (from local woodland) ensuring your cottage is as warm and comfortable as can be.
There are 2 local pubs. 1 is 1/2 mile away towards Worcester and the other is 3/4 mile towards Hereford. There are no pavements or walking paths to either of these pubs but are easily accessible by car.
We are happy to accept supermarket deliveries from Waitrose, Tesco, Sainsburys and Asda if required. Cradley has a really well stocked local shop/off licence.
PARKING - Tarmac parking is 30 metres from the entrance of Whitewells Farm.
