Within a few minutes' walk, you reach the S-Bahn, which takes you to Freiburg main station in about 20 minutes and further to Titisee-Neustadt in the Black Forest. Alsace and the Vosges are easily accessible for day trips, and an amusement park is also nearby. Events are not permitted.
