Welcome to Brisbane Backpackers RESORT!. We are the first purpose-built Hostel in Brisbane. Located in the Cultural hub of West End and only a short 10 minute walk from Southbank, Brisbaneâ€™s top attraction with the only Beach in Brisbane. We are a chill, social and non party Hostel.
We have the most facilities in Brisbane including; a pool, heated spa, tennis/basketball/football court, pool table & ping pong and all the equipment that goes along with it..
Our reception is open 24 hours a day!
Every single one of our rooms has an ensuite with shower and toilet. Every room on the first and second floor has a balcony.
Here's what sets us apart:
ALL dorm rooms have an ensuite (shower, toilet, and sink), fridge, commercial fan and aircon on ALL NIGHT LONG (during summer months - Currently ON). Note: We do not provide towels for shared dorms.
All but ground level rooms even have a personal balcony for relaxing and smoking if needed.
Capsule beds - We are the first in Queensland with capsule beds. The room itself has 2 rooms with 4 capsules in each room. There is a bathroom, mini kitchenette and courtyard in this room. The air con is also on 24 hours a day. Each capsule has a closable door, great lighting, mirror, laptop table, ducted fan, and a couple USB ports.
Private rooms: Doubles/Twins/Triples: All private rooms have an ensuite, TV, fridge, and private balcony with coffee and tea making facilities. All linen, blankets, and towels are included!
BBR Laundry has the newest Washing Machines and Dryers in Brisbane with the best rates around. 6 washing machines and 6 dryers! (From $6.00 per wash - includes washing liquid). Our machines can even accept phone payments with credit cards or PayPal.
BBR Kitchen has 8 gas cook tops, 3 microwaves, toasters, sandwich press, blenders, pots and pans and plenty of storage. You can even enjoy FREE tea and coffee all day while you are waiting for your meal.
Parking: We do not offer parking onsite. We are close to unmetered and unlimited street parking. Search 'Brisbane Central traffic area' for more information.
FREE WiFi 24 hours a day throughout the property.
Important details:
- We do not do check in guests between 12am and 10am â€" unless organised beforehand.
- Guests are required to clean up after themselves in public areas
- Shared dorm rooms require a PASSPORT as ID to check in.
As of February 2023 - There is a FREE council bus right outside our property that goes around West End to South Bank every 10minutes. This is from 10am to 11pm - 7 days a week!
***Brisbane Backpackers Resort is due to CLOSE permanently on 23rd January 2024!. No guests will be able to stay on this night or extend past this day.
