Positive: We came when there was a heatwave in Hokkaido so it was a nice change to be up in the mountains surrounded by misty clouds .

Negative: Rather run down . We arrived earlier at about 2 pm . There was noone at the reception counter and there was no other guests around checking in . We had to wait an hour before someone came to the counter to check us in .

Summary: Could be a better stay if counter staff was more helpful
