Located on the beautiful Lake Champlain in South Hero, this property boasts direct access to the lake on Keeler Bay, magnificent sunset views, and modern appliances - everything you need for a memorable stay! The Birches is a waterfront property made up of a log cabin and a main cottage. You are situated in a secluded location with an old camp feel so you can relax and enjoy some time on your own away from the hustle and bustle. South Hero is two miles away, offering great restaurants. Some must-visit attractions include Allenholm Farm, Sand Bar State Park, Snow Farm Vineyard & Winery, Champlain Valley Exposition, Bolton Valley Resort, and Stowe Mountain Resort.
The log cabin boasts a beautiful rustic interior with cathedral ceilings, exposed wood beams, and modern appliances. Stream entertaining movies and shows on the smart TV in the living area, or gather around the yard for some storytelling under the starry night sky. The cabin also boasts a well-appointed kitchen with all the appliances needed to prepare exquisite homemade meals. Two bedrooms have this retreat ideal for small families and couples. Additional perks on-site include a stacked washer/dryer in one of the bedrooms. The main cottage features a sleeping nook with bunk beds and a seating area with a smart TV to keep you entertained. You will also discover one bedroom and a well-equipped dine-in kitchen with all the major appliances. This property also provides you with two kayaks, one canoe, and life preservers; a gas grill, board games, and an outdoor dining area.

The dock is not accessible in 2023 due to high lake water. No boat access at this time. Kayaks and canoes must be loaded at the water's edge.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Dock details: Seasonal use (June - October) starting 2024. Due to lake high water levels, no dock use in 2023.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
