The space
The cabin is located 150 meters away from the Blefjell Lodge and inserted in a small community of privately owned container conversion cabins. The space is minimalistic and designed with high focus on nature, bringing a strong feeling of relaxation. Both bedrooms have a view overlooking Vegglifjell and Rjukan. Starlight nights and incredible sunrises.

Other things to note
This project has been developed by Nature Compact Living in 2021. We have been here since December 2022 and hosted our first guest a few weeks after that. The concept has since evolved and expanded by Grend, a compact and sustainability living company labelled with Made in Norway certification. We feel thrilled seeing that low maintenance and low impact construction methods are becoming more popular. The cabins were featured in a popular TV Show from TV, Boksen (The Box) where Norwegian celebrities resolved challenges while living in an variety of compact cabins. The show gain significance since it was recorded in a paradise garden island outside Stavanger: Flor og Fjære (Flower and the tide).
Our purpose is to share our cabin when we are not using ourselves. As such we welcome guest to make the most and respect our space, caring and enjoy each feature with attention. We are responsive and positive in our communications and do our best to make your stay memorable and filled with convenience.
