This family home sits in an acre of land (approx. 4100 sq metres) with a large private pool (11 x 6 m). Its location at the foot of the mountains gives all round stunning views whatever the season. It is quiet yet close to many beaches, restaurants and many tourist attractions. 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike to reach the famous Olympos beach and ruins where you will find numerous bars, restaurants and nightclubs. Other nearby beaches include Adrasan(15 min), Korsankoyu(25 mins), Phaesilis (30 mins).
The house has 2 floors. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, a bathroom and a large balcony. Downstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 is en suite, 1 bathroom, a kitchen and a cozy living room. There is a large covered patio, an outside loo and a big terrace with a barbecue and seating area. All bedrooms and the living room have air-con. There is a caretaker lives in a nearby house and a secure car-parking is on site. The garden is well-maintained and has a variety of mature trees, including fig, orange, peach, apricot, mulberry, almond, walnut, apple, olive. The pool is regularly cleaned. This coast is rich in Greek, Roman and Lycian history and there are many historical sites within 1 hours drive, including Myra, Demre (St Nicholas's church) Kekova (The Sunken City), Arykanda, Rhodiopolis, Lymira. The neighbouring village of Cirali is home to the famous Chimera mountain ( the mountain of continuous flames).
A 30 minute drive will take you to the cable car which goes up to the summit of Mount Olympos (Tahtali)
The local town of Kumluca (30 min) has a thriving fruit, veg and clothes market on Fridays as well as numerous supermarkets and the neighbouring village of Adrasan (15 mins) has a smaller but similar market on Sundays.
There are many activities to do in this area: water sports, rock climbing, hiking, para gliding, canoeing, quad biking, deep-sea diving, boat trips, etc.
