Welcome to our home away from home! Our condo is less than an hour’s drive (32 miles) east of the San Juan International Airport. Our spacious, airy and beautiful condo has spectacular views from our balcony of where the Atlantic ocean meets the Caribbean sea. Our condo comfortably sleeps up to six guests with three bedrooms, two full baths and includes two parking spots. Renting a car is easy and is the best way to get around and explore all that the beautiful island of Puerto Rico has to offer. Making sure our guests comfort, relaxation and enjoyment are in mind at all times, our unit is equipped with all necessities needed: air-conditioning, flat screen Roku TVs with complimentary Netflix, hi-speed WiFi, linens, beach towels, beach chairs and much more.
Located in the Pena Mar Ocean Club, Fajardo, Puerto Rico, this 24/7 guarded and gated community has three swimming pools (including one with a slide), club house, fitness room, children's playground, tennis courts and basketball court. The clubhouse which houses the fitness room, main pool, hot tub, children's pool and playground are conveniently located directly next to our unit. In addition, Pena Mar is one of the few complexes on the island that has automatic 24/7 backup generators.
Fajardo, the town where Pena Mar Ocean Club is located, is known as the hub for a majority of recreational boating in Puerto Rico. Many popular fun-filled snorkeling, scuba and fishing charters are located at the Villa Marina across the street. Supermarkets, and popular chain stores and restaurants are five minutes away. Pack a cooler and hop on a 30 minute water taxi that will shuttle you to the gorgeous islets of Icacos or Palomino for the day. Want to visit the shallow turquoise beaches of Culebra or Vieques Island? Travel by ferry, island-hopper planes, commercial, or private boat charters which are all near by. Spend a lazy day beachcombing and snorkeling at Fajardo’s Seven Seas Beach or Luquillo Beach and Kiosks. Hike the trails and take a dip in the waterfalls of the El Yunque Rainforest during the day, and kayak through the La Laguna Grande Bio Bay at night to see the millions of micro-organisms called “dinoflagellates” glow in the water. Los Croabas, where most kayak tours depart from and home of many open-air seafood restaurants with ocean views is a short drive north of Pena Mar very close to the El Conquistador golfing & casino Resort.
