Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The personal contact with host, Boes, was very pleasant, much nicer than an impersonal key box! The apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable, warm and practical. The big living-room/kitchen gives onto a patio - great for relaxing outside (or watching the birds from inside) and great for providing lots of light inside. The decor is artistic and tasteful. Puur Geluk is in a quiet area, near a lovely park and is a short walk to Groningen Noord station or only a slightly longer walk into the centre of town. Two interesting elements : washbasins in the bedrooms, and for cooking - a gas hob : unusual these days and perfect!

Negative: Two minor points : we were surprised that there was no freezer compartment in the fridge. And there was no microwave oven - unusual, but we didn't miss it.
