Full Kitchen with new appliances. Shared Laundry room with upstairs apartment. Access to backyard. New TV with cable. 10 minute walking distance to local BART station. Minutes drive from UC Berkeley campus. Central location with access to nearby freeways to SF, shops and grocery. This two bedroom apartment is in South Berkeley. We have off street parking for up to two vehicles for our guests. Each bedroom has queen size beds. There is one full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. There is a grassy backyard with small patio and a basic Weber BBQ Grill with folding table, tools and charcoal available in the laundry room for those who want to BBQ. Plenty of closet space and storage in each bedroom. It has a nice large modern kitchen and dining room in addition to its bedrooms, living room, and the backyard. All accessible to guests. The parking is a large plus for Berkeley, where parking is scarce in the evening. We have a gas fireplace in the dining room, a floor heater in the living room and a space heater which keep the apartment nice a warm when it's chilly. Numerous locally owned business, corner stores, restaurants, and friendly people in the area. The neighboring Berkeley Bowl grocery stores are excellent for shopping. Downtown Berkeley and Oakland are close by, as well as SF a short drive or BART or Uber ride away. Favorite Grocery is definitely BERKELEY BOWL WEST. Fav bar is Missouri Lounge for dive bar, or The Pub on Solano Ave in North Berkeley for more formal. Best park is Tilden Regional Park, 15 minute drive. Refer to the house guide for more detailed info. Ten minute walk to BART Ashby station. Uber and Lyft have a quick response time in this area. Numerous bus lines are located in Sacramento Ave. The main traffic arterial located one block walk to the west. Central location with access to the freeway to all Bay Area destinations. Uber/Lyft are quickly available in this area. There is a public bike station located nearby at Sacramento and Prince street. Bus routes are a short walk west on Sacramento and Alcatraz.
