The Courtyard Apartment in HBB&B is nestled in the heart of Jervis Bay - directly across from 'the whitest sand in the world' - Hyams Beach. Swim with the dolphins in the Bay, take a walk around the village and meet our friendly kangaroo's or just curl up with a book in the bright airy courtyard.
"The Courtyard" is a modern, apartment style accommodation. Recently purpose built, your rooms open out to a large airy courtyard with lazy deck chairs just waiting for you to enjoy an afternoon champagne or cup of tea! Crisp white sun-dried linen, french doors, plantation shutters and polished floorboards will set the scene for a perfect holiday atmosphere. The Courtyard Suite is suitable for single or double occupancy only as our property is not designed for children.
The Apartment consists of queen bedroom, ensuite, living and dining area and a facility for preparation of light snacks. As the accommodation is B&B style, self catering is not applicable although you will have your own microwave, small bar fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Cutlery, crockery and all glassware is also supplied. There is also a small BBQ just outside your entrance. The Courtyard Suite has instant heating in winter and ceiling fans for those long summer days.
We have found that our Homeaway-Stayz guests prefer to make their own arrangements for breakfast, so our listed reduced rated does not include breakfast. The Hyams Beach Cafe (just across the road) has the best coffee, breakfasts and home cooked treats. You can sleep in, go for an early run or maybe a quick swim in the Bay as breakfast is served until 11.00am. The Cafe is also opened for dinner Friday and Saturday nights throughout the year and extra nights during the summer period.

Check in is between 2.00pm-10.00pm and checkout for midweek and peak holiday periods is 10.00am but for weekend bookings, checkout is Noon. We have installed keyless entry and each guest is given a unique 4 digit code which will enable access to your rooms. The good thing is you don't have to take your keys to the beach! As we live on site (but separate to your accommodation) we endeavour to greet you on arrival so it would be helpful if you could text 30 mins prior to arrival so we have an idea of estimated time of arrival. We are available for assistance or any information that you may require, otherwise your time and space are your own.
Public transport is limited so a car is highly recommended. We offer free designated off street parking on our property. By car, we are 2.5 hrs from Sydney and from Canberra.

Activities in the area
Jervis Bay is a marine park and Hyams Beach is surrounded by a national park so there is no end to what you can do and what you can discover. Whether it is a bush walk hugging the coast, dolphin and whale watching, sea kayaking or swimming in the turquoise waters of the Bay. Although it is hard to tear yourself away from Hyams Beach you can browse the bric a brac shops in Milton, have lunch at a vineyard in Berry or watch a movie at the historic Huskisson movie theatre. As your hosts we value your privacy but are very happy to help where we can in letting you know about the area and what there is to do.
