This high set rustic holiday house is located just a short walk from the banks of Snapper Creek. There is also the lovely wildflower walk which meanders along the banks of the creek and up through to the centre of Tin Can Bay. If you are feeling adventurous you can continue along down to the waterfront walk.
The house is set up for total relaxation with verandas around which take in all the sea breezes. The kitchen is all set up with fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and all the utensils needed for a comfortable stay. The open plan lounge/dining room has comfortable lounges with a television, DVD, stereo, pot belly stove and a 6 seater dining room table.
The main bedroom and second bedroom have double beds and the third bedroom has two single beds. The main bathroom has a small corner bath with the shower combined. The downstairs laundry includes a washing machine and a toilet and shower which is useful for washing off when coming back from swimming or fishing. There is a single lock up garage and room to park other cars or boats on the property.
The covered veranda includes an outdoor setting and BBQ. The house is located on a lovely tree filled block of land so you feel like you are one with nature.
Tin Can Bay has much to offer! Choose a quiet relaxing holiday with a good book and an easy stroll along the Esplanade to enjoy the water views. Bring the kids as they will enjoy the paths with their scooters and bikes. There is also a skateboard bowl and playground on the foreshore. Tin Can Bay is also popular for fishing so bring the tinny or you can hire a boat if you wish to go out and catch some fish or mud crabs.
Only 30 minutes drive and you can enjoy the sandy beaches of Rainbow Beach so bring the surboards and boogie boards. Rainbow Beach also offers a flagged swimming beach. You can take your 4wd for a drive to the coloured sands (permit may be required - please check with Queensland Parks before heading off) and right up to the lagoon at double island point. Great spot for a swim! Please check beach conditions before leaving. 4wd hire is also available.
