This old and quite individually restored and furnished half-timered house is located beneath the church ("Stifstkirche") and the castle and it's part of the historical city centre, which is also world cultural heritage.
A more central but still completely traffic-calmed and romantic environment would be hard to find in Quedlinburg! So here you have the perfect place to get right within the touristic hustle and bustle in the shortest time, but you can also withdraw quickly and enjoy the peace aside from the streams of visitors.

Within minutes, dog owners get to the beautiful city park „Brühl" nearby with the adjacent river „Bode", where your four-legged friend can take a bath and move freely.

Parking:
Cars in the whole Schlossberg area can only be parked there using a city parking permit for residents. Therefore we offer you a parking lot for your car quite next to the house (ca. 300m away), where you can park it after unloading. If you want to make use of this service, it costs you 10€/stay which you please pay directly during the handing over of the house.
There is a tiny yard belonging to the „half house" which can be used by smokers as an outdoor sitting area. Alternatively you can sit on the bank in the alley in front of the house. There you can easily get in contact with neighbours or other visitors of the town if you want to…
The house is located at the beginning of a 1.5m wide alleyway, which can be only reached by foot.When unloading your car, you have to cover a distance of ca. 15m to the front door including 8 stairs.
The kitchen has a basic equipment of groceries available (coffee, tea, salt, sugar, flour etc.). Feel free to use them!
IMPORTANT!
The stairs are open and very steep, old and beaten. So for families with little kids and people with walking disabilities this house unfortunately is not recommendable.
The arrival can happen from around 16 o'clock or according to agreement. At the day of departure you should leave the house until 11 o'clock, so that we can make a thorough cleaning for the next guests.
NEW: laundry service!
Our good fairy of the house will gladly do your laundry for a small fee. She will take your laundry, wash it and bring it back for 10€ per bag.

Vacations with your dog
Here you have ideal conditions for your dog. The next weadow for dogs also is only a few steps (ca. 150 m) away, for longer walks you can go to the beautiful city park „Brühl" which is within spittting distance. From there you can also go to the Altenburg and walk, walk, walk…
All prices refer to 2 people (valid for last-minute offers as well). For every other person there is an extra charge of 15€ per night.
ATTENTION:
Beginning with the 3rd night the rental price gets reduced according to the stated discounts – then this reduced price also counts for the first two nights!

Well-bred dogs are very welcome! But due to the empirically way more time-consuming house cleaning, we unfortunately have to raise a non-recurring cleaning fee of 25€ per pet.
The rental price is due 30 days before the beginning of the stay, in case of near-term bookings or last minute offers according to agreement.
Tourist tax of the city of Quedlinburg:
Adults: 2.50€ / night
Children 6-18 years: 1.25€ / night
We collect the payable tourist tax directly at your arrival in cash or you transfer it in advance together with the rental price; in both cases you will receive a receipt. With your valid tourist tax receipt you can use many buses in the rural district for free (especially interesting for hikers in the Harz) and the entry price into some museums is reduced.
