Positive: We liked the friendliness of the owners who welcomed us, the house itself was very comfortable, and we've loved the warmth of the reception. The accommodation was found by using google, booking, google maps, street view, and so on, and a grid of requirements. About the area, we liked it very much. It is not yet overwhelmed by tourism or overcrowded with shops, which makes it particularly attractive. It feels like a vacation in the 80s, without so much tourism - fantastic. We went on to visit Bastia, which is much more populated, an urban center on the rise, with the flags of overtourism already in place. Interesting, but not a vacation destination - according to our requirements. We also visited L'Ile Rousse - with stunning beaches. Also prone to the ravages of overtourism. Magnificent landscapes. The turquoise and blue waters, beautiful but not as clean as those of Furiani. No question about it.

Negative: In Furiiani, the pedestrian path to the beach isn't very pleasant, particularly because on the road the vehicles, most of which run on fuel, travel very fast, so it's not very safe for pedestrians. There are very few pedestrian crossings on the way to the beach. Lastly, there is no waste sorting either, nor are there many litter bins. In other words, the environment and the sustainability of the planet have yet to conquer Furiani. We believe it will be possible.
