The house was built in 1959 using ecological construction methods with wooden beam ceilings and straw insulation between the floors. This means that occasional noises from the apartments above can be heard. It is situated on a slope in a sunny location with a wonderful view of the Wiesental valley. The apartment has its own entrance and parking spaces in front of the house.
