Summary: I arrived several hours early before check in time due to leaving the previous night's accommodation as soon as possible as I didn't feel happy staying there, I am so grateful to the staff at Cat Tien Farm Stay for letting me check in early. The room itself was large with a comfortable double bed. It did not match the room in the photograph with a bath but it did have a private toilet and shower room. The toilet and shower room was large but basic and out dated however for the price I cannot complain and the water was hot and OK pressure. Due to the rural location and open air ventilation in the bathroom I did have the pleasure of a couple of local critters the next morning including a rather lost snail and a confused frog however I was able to pick both up and set outside. Just be aware if you are looking for luxury. There is a dining option on site but your order is called through to their sister property about 1km away and then biked over. It was still delicious, if slightly expensive, and I cannot complain however the only places to eat are open air and whilst having dinner I also became dinner for some flying insects - my own fault for not putting Insect Repellent on but something to be aware of. It is in a quiet location and unfortunately a thunderstorm meant I couldn't fully appreciate it but I'm sure it is beautiful. Finally be aware Expedia at the time of writing is incorrect in the location for the property on their map, instead use Google Maps which is accurate.

Summary: Located close to the national park. Atmosphere in this place make you relax and with all the plantation gave you a little taste of the jungle.

Summary: Rest stop from Saigon to Dalat.
overall ok, have a nagging doubt about something I didn't really like about this place but it was only a minor one I think- might have been the beer/restaurant prices( not a lot nearby). I'd consider staying again. Aah, I remember now- they were a bit like a cult trying to suck you in- 'you only staying one day? not going to see the park? etc etc. several of the staff were on this tip and it felt like they were trying a bit too hard and it was a bit odd. They didn't seem to get that people might just stay there for a rest stop.

Summary: The stafff was friendly and helpful. Farmstay is not the place for those looking for luxury, but my wife and I prefer accommodations that are relaxing and have local atmosphere. We met and enjoyed all of the other guests in the dining area outside under the trees by the river. The Christmas Day bonfire was a joy. If you want a quiet, peaceful break from the noisy chaos of HCMC look no further. The boat to the park is a short walk down the road.

Summary: My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in October and as we were the only ones there at the time we had the privilege of being invited to a BBQ with the owner and her family as well as the staff. They treated us like part of the family and I can honestly say it was really one of the best places we have stayed in in Vietnam. The far stay had only been opened a couple of months and the rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. They do not have ensuites but the bathrooms we're clean, big and spacious and right next to the rooms. There were plenty of spots to sit and relax, we particularly liked sitting in the hammocks by the river. Their guide on site spoke excellent English and truly gave us the best trek experience and advice, especially hearing other travellers tails of guides who couldn't speak English I think the far stay had the best guide available in the area, he had amazing knowledge of the wildlife and we were lucky enough to see wild gibbons on our way to crocodile lake with him! The food on site was delicious, their cook is very good with plenty of vegetarian options also, you can also pay your bill using credit card just in case you don't bring enough cash like we did! Although there is a ATM a cycle ride away I believe. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay whilst visiting the national park, you will not be disappointed if you book here as you will be very well looked after!
