Nice old stone house with a view of the Eyrieux river and the Dolce Via green way, in the Monts d'Ardèche Natural Regional Parc - Geoparc Mondial UNESCO, with a large shady terrace at the level of the kitchen-living room, shared by us, and a private garden behind the bedroom on the floor above.
On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, dining table, and sitting room. The next floor up is the bedroom with a shower and a bathroom sink. The dry-toilet is separate.
The kitchen is well equipped and boasts a wood stove for the colder season, which has an oven (for use outside of Summer).
Wonderful trips into the Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park. Swimming in the Glueyre in Summer, cozy evenings by the wood stove in the cooler seasons.
The house hosts a collection of original paintings by Peter Swan, a contemporary painter from Bristol (UK).
This home is next to our house and located on the typical terraces of the Boutières region, surrounded by wild forest.
We practice permaculture here and live ecologically. The springwater of Gluiras is delicious, the heating fueled by wood only and the toilets dry. We will be very pleased to share our way of living with you!
Central Ardèche is calm with a very rich biodiversity. There are many discoveries to make in the pretty valleys here, on the green way "La Dolce Via" (entry opposite our house) and on the plateau, the high-lands of "La Montagne Ardèchoise".
You will find museums and villages full of history around the area. We have plenty information at the house.
Don't hesitate to come here outside of the summer season - the heart of the Ardèche is very beautiful dressed in warm autumn colors. Tonic walks give clear far away views and the plateau Ardéchois at less than one hour drive takes you to another world. The Spring is wonderfully lush in our valleys, with all the different greens!
