Bedrooms are modernly furnished , with parquet flooring, orthopedic mattresses, Egyptian cotton bedlinen provided. Bedroom 1 and 4 with ensuite bath/shower rooms. Bedroom 1 also has a balcony. This apartment can be used for a maximum of 8 people. It can also be rented at a lower rate for 6 people (please enquire). All bathrooms are newly refurbished as is the apartment. Tiled in ivory coloured marble and are equipped with power showers. Well equipped kitchen with full range of cooking utensils and ample crockery.

Chateau d'Oex is in many ways the quintessential Swiss alpine resort. Nestled on the South side of a valley amongst the French speaking Alps. The town is the picture of a quaint ski village. To the west is the famous cheese making town of Gruyere and approx 15 minutes drive to the east the glamorous town of Gstaad. The apartment is just 400m from the town centre in a quiet, sunny, elevated position, in a quiet cul-de-sac, south facing, with views over the town. The property has a balcony where one can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of the alpine scenery in both summer and winter. Chateaux doex provides year round fun with numerous activities for all. The town has a large co op supermarket with a good range to select from, plus a couple of lovely local bakeries. There are several good restaurants in the town, La Gare which offers steaks on a stone, La Poste, another restaurant serving good local foods and The Bear which also has a great menu.
2 hour train ride from Geneva and 2.5 hour train ride from Basel.
A Superb ski region with 250 km pistes, 66 lifts/cable ways and nurseries. Nearest piste with cable car under 10 mins drive , ski school 400m. Glacier 3000 40 minute drive usually open for skiing Nov to June. Other slopes within 15 minutes driving distance.
