The Bassett House, originally built in 1802, this large historic farmhouse was elegantly remodeled in 2018. North Haven, CT is centrally located and just minutes away from Yale, Quinnipiac, UNH and SCSU as well as shopping, the beat restaurants, hiking trails, state parks and beaches, and many local attractions including various vineyards. This expansive home offers a luxury experience in a private and relaxed setting. It offers a large open concept 1st floor ideal for entertaining with a chef's kitchen that has a large island with seating for 5 while you watch the cook, a dining area that seats as little as 4 and can expand to 24 with another 5 at the gigantic island (think kids table) a large comfortable living room and a media room with an 80" TV perfect for watching your favorite movie or cheering on your favorite team. Sit out on the lanai and relax as you view the expansive private backyard with additional seating for your entire gathering.
There is an exercise room features a treadmill and T.V.
The second floor has 4 bedrooms that include 2 master suites with spa-inspired en-suite bathrooms. There is an additional full bath on the second floor with a tub and shower. There is a TV and cable service in every bedroom. There is also a full laundry available on the 2nd floor with iron and ironing board and laundry supplies provided complementary.
We allow tame/calm dinner parties or events with limits: Small gatherings are allowed as long as they aren't disruptive to the neighborhood or destructive to the property in any way. Unregistered guests (including local visitors) are not allowed on our property without our specific permission.
