The space
Hello and welcome to our apartment! We’ve put a lot of love and effort into making this home a warm and welcoming space for all to enjoy, so please treat it with respect.
Take in everything Melbourne has to offer from the light-filled lounge room of the 25th (penthouse) floor, with unparalleled views of the city skyline and Port Melbourne beach out one window, and royal park and other green spaces out the other. Whether you want to curl up with a book and a cup of tea on the couch or relax in the bay window and watch the world go by below, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
As you enter the apartment you'll find a guest book complete with instructions for operating everything in the house, public transport maps and timetables and even a couple of transport cards for you to get around. We’ve put enough money on the cards to get you started, we just ask you to please make sure you return the cards at the end of your stay so the next guests can use them.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOM
There is one bedroom with a large built-in robe, and another bedroom with a small hanging closet and drawer storage. The bedrooms share the bathroom which has a shower over the bath, and a toilet. Each bedroom has a 43” smart tv with built in chromecast so you can stream your favourite content from your device or utilise our guest accounts to access Disney+, Paramount+, Stan, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.
Each room also has a bedside table, a desk and a chair. There are spare blankets and pillows in the cupboards for your convenience.
OTHER SPACES
In between the bathroom and the kitchen is the European laundry complete with washing machine and dryer. You’re welcome to use them both however please ensure you clear the lint from the dryer after use. Please also turn on the fan when the dryer is running. Washing detergent is provided for your convenience, as is an ironing board and iron.
The kitchen contains a range of cutlery, crockery and appliances to make your stay easy. There is also a dishwasher for your convenience, however please ensure you empty it prior to checkout.
The lounge room has a 58” smart tv. Like the bedrooms, you are welcome to use this and any of the streaming services, just please remember to use the guest accounts! All of the seating options in the lounge are super comfy so sorry in advance if you don’t have the motivation to move! The window bench is great for a cheeky afternoon nap in the sun.
There is one car park available for your use, which is accessed via level 4. Further instructions for parking are provided on check in. On the ground floor of the building you will find a small gym along with a small sauna. You are welcome to use either of these spaces however please ensure you are respectful to others at all times. Finally, there is a fantastic shared outdoor space on level 8 which offers bbq facilities, covered seating, plenty of greenery and views of the local parks. Don’t worry, you can still see the city from here too!
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The nearest tram stop is 120m away. It is the 59 tram located at Flemington Community Centre / Mt Alexander Road. It takes less than 15 minutes to get to the city via tram.
The nearest train station is 450m away. It is the Flemington Bridge Station on the Upfield line. It takes less than 10 minutes to get to the city via train.
HOUSE RULES
- Breakage: If you break something, please let us know immediately. Please also let us know if something isn't working.
- Noise: This is a quiet apartment complex and our neighbours are all very considerate. Please be respectful of our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after 10pm.
- No smoking: Our apartment and the building in general have a strict no smoking policy. Please do not smoke (including e-cigarettes) inside the apartment or anywhere in the building.
- No parties: Please no parties or events to be held in the apartment.
- No pets: We do not allow pets on this property.
