3 Bedroom House in Castlecliff, Whanganui
This is our lovely home by the beach. We have a love of 60's 70's retro furniture and have used this aesthetic to make the space reflect the creative Whanganui community it sits within. The house looks out to panoramic uninterrupted sea views. Beach access is only 2 doors down, so it's easy to pop off for a beach walk or swim when ever you want. We have a beautiful garden courtyard off the kitchen which is a lovely place to sit. The rooms are comfortable & calming helping you feel replenished.
The house is an old bungalow that was bach and has been added to over the years. There is a large lounge filled with vintage treasures that looks out to sea. This room has a tv screen with chromecast and stereo. There is also a fireplace so you can make it really cosy.
This is our family home so please respect the objects within it. We really love art and vintage treasures and would like everyone to enjoy them so please take care.
The dining room is attached to a kitchen with vintage rimu cupboards. The master bedroom is large and has a luscious super king sized bed, this room has a large screen and chromecast in it also so you can relax in bed and watch movies.
The other bedrooms are relatively small but charming. One has a single bed in it with ocean views and the other has a single mezzanine bed in the ceiling, again with ocean views. It is a really cute little room with but you need to be able to climb a large ladder to get to the bed so it's not suitable for small children. Please keep the door to this room shut if you have toddlers!!
There are also 2 mattresses that can be used but I do not provide linen for these, so you will have to bring your own.
There is 1 bathroom with a shower and toilet.
There is a concreted courtyard with a beautiful garden to the left of the house the the kitchen opens out to. There are some comfy outdoor couches on this side with cushions to lounge around in the sun on. In the event of rain it would be appreciated if guests could bring the cushions inside.
There is another cute little sleep out with sea views on the property up by the road. This sleep out has its own entrance and is quite separate from the property. I have a permanent guest living in the sleep out who will respect your privacy. They are both separate and private.
