Summary: We visited the area of Old Forge for the first time to explore the mountain biking trail system that is being developed locally. We heard about it from other bikers and they also mentioned the family friendly vibe and water park that appealed to us too. Woodgate is a close 20 minute drive back and forth without being in the middle of town. One of the biggest things we look for in a vacation rental is security with our bikes, access to a washer/ dryer for our dirty clothes and comfortable beds. This home has all of that. I have to say, the mattresses were so comfortable that we literally looked them up online for our next purchase to replace ours at home! The house is generous in size so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Our six year old was beyond excited to see the board games and puzzles to play with too. There is a wide variety of books to read in the living room which also included kids books. This listing is relatively new and I am sure many will enjoy this location. I will say though that the road this house is located on does get quite a few trucks throughout the day and the posted speed is 55 mph. With that being said, anyone with super young children would want to be cautious with little ones and making sure the door is latched at all times. Our son is old enough to not run out into the road but we were still very careful when we walked next to it with him. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Thanks so much!! We hope to return again next summer 😁
