From the Äkäsjärvi you have views to nearest fjells and in the night time you have the best opportunities to see northern lights! The cabin is surrounded with natural forest, where you find the berries and mushrooms to collect in the autumn time. You can use the rowing boat to explore the lake and fishing is also possible. In the winter time also snow shoes are provided to getting around in the deep snow that can exceed over 1 meter snow cover.
The cottage has just been renovated and extensively updated. Downstairs, the cottage has a kitchenette with a sofa bed, a toilet and an electrically heated sauna.
