Summary: Definitely one of the best accommodations especially for larger groups! This chalet embodied such a unique, rustic yet cosy spirit perfect not only for the snowy winter seasons but also during summer. The triple-story property provided endless entertainment (and hiding spots) for the little ones and the multiple bathrooms and separated bedrooms allowed for privacy. This location allows for easy access for day trips to Bright and Harietville and adventurous hiking trails. The proximity to Mt Hotham is also of major benefit, whether you seek the rolling green hills that can be seen from every direction or to finish the day with an evening viewing of a spectacular sunset at the edge of the mountain. The only problem we faced were the dryer not working for us (this could be a serious issue during the snow season) Overall, this accommodation was perfect for our big family and provided a well-needed escape from the city life into the wilderness!
