The house is located in the heights and the heat is often tempered by a pleasant breeze. The studio, with its own entrance, is also accessible from the main entrance. It is designed for 2 people and has a double bed, a separate toilet and a bathroom with shower. In the garden you will find many places shaded by lush Mediterranean vegetation.
The region of Aigne is quiet without being isolated. Aigne is located 6 km east of Minerve, a village that is one of the most beautiful in France. Through a magnificent medieval stone gate, you enter a maze of narrow streets with tall houses and stroll to the central square with village church. Here you will also find pretty stores for handicrafts or others specializing in paintings, carvings in wood or in stone.
You will also find wine cellars where you can taste wines from the region, as well as a small restaurant (closed Wednesdays and Thursdays in winter), known in the region for the quality of its dishes.
In the surroundings of La Prade you will find hiking trails for beautiful walks in the scent of rosemary and thyme and in the shade of olive and fig trees. Some of the trails are part of the Grande-Randonnes, long hiking trails that are well marked. South of the village, you can walk through the vineyards or hike to Mailhac, where you can stop and rest over a coffee. Enjoy the 360 degree panoramic view of Minerva, La Caunette and the Montagnes Noire, the black mountains.
