Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel is super convenient especially for travelers who are arriving past midnight and have a flight the next day. We were able walk to the hotel by following the hot pink signs in the airport. The hotel does not tell you that there are signs in the airport, I only knew from reading other reviews. There seem to be 2-3 different hotels, all sharing the building, but there are a lot of signs telling you where to go. Morning staff were helpful in providing info about where to get picked up for Didi or taxis. We wanted to go to the panda resort in the morning before our afternoon flight, the fastest way was to take a didi to the resort and back. The breakfast was also amazing, a huge buffet with both Chinese and Western cuisines.

Negative: -Even though we speak Chinese one of the girls at the front desk was not really friendly at check in. She got annoyed when she gave us passes to bypass the airport entrance security and we didn't know what she meant (it took us a while to remember that there is luggage scanning at entrances). -Design of the shower is not great if you are not a couple. The sink and shower are on one side, but the sink bedroom wall is translucent. And if going to the toilet, you can see right into the clear glass shower. -The worst part is that there was no communication on booking.com with them. Other hotels provide directions and other info, but this hotel doesn't. I had to read the reviews to find out how to find the hotel in the airport. Even though I messaged them 3 times, there were no replies. Booking.com was also showing me the message "This property isn’t taking reservations on our site right now. " which was a bit worrisome because I wasn't sure if they would honor our existing reservation. -The passes that were provided for security at the door to the airport were never used. When we didn't have our luggage with us they just let us through, when we had luggage the guards told us it should be used elsewhere.
