The Space:
Breezy Pelican is a modern unique beachfront one-bedroom apartment that is steps from the sand in Luquillo, Puerto Rico.It features comfortable furnishing, A/C, a kitchen, and excellent community amenities such as beach access, a large swimming pool, a basketball court, and a children's park. Guests love the excellent location less than 15 minutes from the El Yunque Rainforest, 5-10 minutes from a wide array of beaches, and excellent dining options nearby.
LIVING AREAS
Once you enter Breezy Pelican, guests are greeted with a beautiful open space overlooking the stunning beach and ocean. Decorated with neutral blue serene tones that give it a very relaxing and zen atmosphere. It also has a flat-screen TV, a comfortable sofa, AC, and a private balcony with stunning ocean views.The balcony has a sitting area to enjoy the stunning viewand trade winds.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
The bedroom has one king-size bed outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens. Features a private full bathroom, A/C, full drawer, and personal nightstand. It also features a dedicated workspace area with ocean views!
KITCHEN
Breezy Pelican has a recently remodeled and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, microwave, stovetop, oven, coffee maker, and toaster. Besides the kitchen features abistro-style console that can sit up to 2 guests and overlooks the stunning Ocean Views.
LOCATION
Breezy Pelican is located in Luquillo Beach, Puerto Rico. Luquillo Beach is well known for its refreshing trade winds and large palm trees, which provide plenty of shade. The location provides quick and easy access to some of the best beaches in Puerto Rico, El Yunque Rainforest, and boat tours and water activities based out of Fajardo.
There are many things to do in the surrounding areas; here are some of our favorites:
Chill at the beach! It's one of our favorite beaches in Puerto Rico and a must-do if you are staying at Breezy Pelican. The apartment has beach chairs, towels, and coolers for a long day at the beach.
Lunch or dinner at Los Kioskos de Luquillo. There are over 25 restaurants on the Caribbean beachfront restaurant strip. One of our favorites is "La Parrilla".
Take a surfing lesson right at La Pared Beach. There are multiple surf schools located on this beach and it is a 5-minute walk away from the apartment.
Explore the El Yunque Rainforest. El Yunque is an easy 10-minute drive from the property and is the only rainforest under US Flagship.
Spend a day in Old San Juan. Vicky's Oasisis a 45 min drive away from the oldest city in all of the US. There is a lot of history to be seen and great food and drinks to be had.
Charter a boat from Fajardo. There are many boats you can charter for day trips to neighboring islands and coral reefs. You can choose from large boats that sell by ticket or smaller boats you can rent out for private trips with a captain.
GETTING AROUND
We strongly recommend renting a full-size car as there is a multitude of activities within a 30-minute drive which you will not want to miss out on. The villa includes 1 not assigned parking spot.
AMENITIES
West Indies strives to deliver top-notch service and amenities to guarantee our guests feel at home while visiting our properties. All of our properties are outfitted with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest. If you are staying for more than 3 nights and the property does not have a washer and dryer we can coordinate a complimentary towel changeover, subject to availability. Our properties typically include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler.
West Indies provides the disposable amenities necessary to get your vacation off to a comfortable start. These amenities include 1 set of hotel size soaps and shampoos per bathroom, 3 garbage bags, 1 rollof paper towel, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, 1 dish soap, 1 dish sponge, and a small amount of laundry detergent. We do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is your responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock with whatever else may be needed for the duration of your stay.
HOUSE RULES
Check-in time is at 4:00 pm
Check-out time is at 11:00 am
NO SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited. A smoking fee of $500 will be charged if violated.
NO PETS:No pets are allowed at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if violated and you will be expelled from the property.
All bookings are contingent on signing a short-term rental agreement that will be sent via email. It must be signed within 48 hours of booking or before entering the property, whichever happens first.
Maximum occupancy of 2 adults at all times. This includes visitors.
Max. occupancy is strictly enforced and exceeding it may result in immediate cancellation of booking or being expelled from the property.
Towels and linens must only be used for their intended purpose. Do not stain them with food, grease, or any other substance. Do not use towels to clean up any mess, stained towels/linens will be charged from the damage deposit
