Summary: We really did love staying here. The bed was very comfortable and we slept soundly. The outdoor shower was my favorite part. We did not cook, but the kitchen would have been suitable for anything we wanted to prepare.Unfortunately the water went out during our stay due to an issue at the local pumping station. This was no fault of the host’s. There was a slight delay in hearing back from Jay about the issue, but once he noticed my message he was very communicative until the problem was resolved.The reason for my redacting one star is because the hot tub was out of order during our stay. With the water also being out, having the hot tub to comfortably rinse off the salt water would have made the trouble much more comfortable. Jay acknowledged that the heat pump for the hot tub had long outlived its expected lifespan. I am sure it has been replaced since our stay, but I was still disappointed that no one noticed the hot tub was not working before we arrived, especially since it was known that the heat pump was on it’s last leg.Overall, I would consider staying here again. I really enjoyed the outdoor living area with a secure/enclosed sleeping area. The location was very good.
